Well here's a little Program I'm making in my spare time with the ever-so-unpopular Program called Turing...
Right now it's somewhere around 450 lines of code.. and I'm not even close to finishing it..
I work on this during my spare @ skewl... so progress is kinda slow...
Basically it's pong... with 2-player capabilities (which is huge for Turing), except it features a very uniques twist.
There's a solid Post in the Middle of the Screen, making users have to shoot the ball(s) over the wall onto the other player's side of the field.
It's pretty cool.. probably one of my new favorite programs I have made...
Why Do I keep typing about this when I can just show you a screenshot???
After all a picture is worth ten thousand words...
Basically These three screenshots show you the 3 levels of speed the ball can travel at. Depending on where the ball strike your paddle, the ball will go @ a different speed. Hitting it right in the middle makes it go slow (green), somewhat to the side makes it go medium (orange), and right on the corner makes it go fast (red).
when it strikes the paddle, the X variable, and Y variable of the ball is randomized, making the bounce seem "realistic" in some way or another.
This program also features the ability to insert up to 4 (maybe more later) .wav files to play your own custom music during gameplay. Cool.
Also features Scoring system. Cool as well. (Check Screenshots. They are the tiny insignificant #'s in the corner)
I'm also going to make up to 7 functional Balls, entering into gameplay one, by one, at random locations on the screen (which will take FOREVER to implement, btw).
I'll probably put in some sort of cheat code making your paddle bigger, opponents smaller, ect....
In the end I'm estimating this sucker to be a good 1500 lines or more.. which is actually pretty small :/
Once I'm finished, I'm also going to upload it to a file sharing site (with the source code) so you guys can play it, and check out all my hard work (as if this is work).
So yea.. Comments, Ideas? Go ahead and throw 'em down... Lately I've been runnin low on inspiration...

Re: P0ngZ0rS
Update:
537 Lines...
Now features "Select a # of Players"
You can do:
Human vs Human
Human vs Comp
Comp vs Comp
To do list:
Make 7 (in total) little pong balls flying around at once.
Create a progressive adding feature that adds 1 ball @ a random time interval.
Setup collisions for each ball (if they hit each other they will bounce away)
Setup collisions for each ball hitting the paddle.
Create a "Top Priority" Setting for the Comp Players, using hiegth of ball, and speed of ball.
Setup a "Miss & Lose a Point" feature.
Setup Computer Difficulty. (Low, Medium, Hard, and SuperComputer modes)
Create cheat codes (Type in 7 for all 7 balls, type in 1 to expand the paddle, type in 2 to shrink opponent..)
Well that's it for now... :/

Re: P0ngZ0rS
Eons ago I started this game...
3771 lines of code later it's done!
w00t!

Ok. This thing features:
0-2 players
7 balls in play
Computer player assigns a priority to each ball to track it.
4 different themes to play in
6 colors the player can choose to be
5 modes of streak effects... (it's cool Trust me) --> (Use #2 first)
and... well that's about it.
The file comes with the .EXE file, and a readme just in case.
(I advise you to read the readme.) >_>
And yea..
I'll update pictures and stuff later...
I'm a busy man.. changing everyone's names and whatnot.
lol
