The twighlight hack.

IT WORKS!

I can say my recent absence on the site is definetly due to this little gem.

There is NOTHING more satisfying than playing your Mario hack on your brand new wii.

I actually now consider my wii more valuable than my xbox360. That's how awesome this thing is.
Playing Zombies ate my neighbours on the TV again brings back some good memories.

But I guess you don't really care what I say, you just want to know how to do it! M I Rite? Yes I am.

Ok. Here's what you will need:

1 Gamecube controller (at least 1 anyways)
1 Wiimote+nunchuck
1 copy of Zelda Twighlight princess for wii
1 SD card
1 device to transfer data onto your SD card, like an adapter, or a digital camera (i used the latter)

Ok, so basically you need to go here:

Download the following stuff.
FRONT SD ELF LOADER
Snes9x wii

Ok. Now you need to go here

I'm not sure which one is the best or whatever, but I downloaded

^ this thing works, so yea. Basically this is the hacked Zelda save.
All the instructions are on this page, so I don't really need to write em out.

*Note: when it says rename your elf file, remember that the elf file comes with the FRONT SD ELF LOADER.
If I had known that earlier, I could have saved myself a day and a half worth of time


Also remember to copy your old tiwghlight saves to your SD card. It'll be saved in a new folder called private.
Copy this onto youtr PC for safe keeping.

After that you'll need to erase your file, and copy the appropriate Zelda hack file.

From here on out it's pretty straight forward.

Oh, and if you need something to extract the tgz files, then try downloading ALLZIP.
Just type that into google and download it from CNET. it's free.

WEll that should be about it really.
I still haven't got the NES emulator working... oh well. I'm content with the SNES

Yeah, I got myself a 2gig SD card with my graduation money. I tried this out last night, and I have to say, it's pretty impressive. I now have about 200+ games on my Wii. :O

I haven't tried more than one Emulator at a time, but I know it's possible.

try that fceu NES emulator thing, and tell me if you get it working. I seem to be having an issue with it. It's probably just a folder I named wrong or something, but it won't let me load any roms...

Try asking over at SMWCentral in that Wii homebrew thread. Farm Fresh helped me.

D4RK M4RI0 Helped me with alot of stuff. He even gave me some games
Yes, the FCEU works, but not great. You have to restart the homebrew channel to load a new rom. Also, not all roms load, like Mario's Adventure

I wish I had Twilight Princess >_<
