Let's Make a Sig Slogan :P

Okay.. Well, since some people have the userbar sig link in some of thier profiles at other boards, I figured we should probably do some stuff to get a better one going.

The Current one doesn't really play on the site scheme too much (no offence to the original creator, of course Delmaru). Now.. I'm not sure what the symbol should be... or the colors.. (I image the current purply/blue would be good)

Not only do we need a new userbar thing, but we also need a slogan of sorts.
Lordlazer had mentioned "A Refuge for Newbies" or "A Harbor for Newbies"...

Now I think that's great and all, but I think we need something a little stronger...
Something like "A Haven for Newbies"/"A Haven for Newbs"
and maybe even tack on this ending: "A Haven for Newbies, and Verterans alike!"

This would signify that not only is our goal "aiding the newbs" but it also shows that the site isn't Full of newbs
(no offence to the poor newbs)

So I guess first off we should think of a symbol.. maybe play off videogames, or hacking, or something Dark, spacey, or techy (to go with the site scheme), and then we'll work on the slogan later.

Another idea - for the theme - would be to attempt to make this site match your signature's banner.

Slogan: "A Haven for Veterans, a Refuge for Newbies." OR "A Haven for Veterans, a Refuge for Newbs."

You know, it's funny. I never thought of matching the site to the sig bar. Wierd o_O

I guess it could be worth a shot. That means new pictures, navigation menu pictures, color schemes...
Gold, and Black Basically..
I might not have to deviate from the current scheme too much though...
I'll start work on that soon... Gots other "projects" to work on right now...

Hmm.. Ithink I like the second one better. "Newbs" is just easier to say than "Newbies", that and I'm too lazy to say a two syllable word

If you want to have "the bane of n00bs" in there, I suggest taking out the "and"...it makes it sound slicker I think.

BTW Onyx, it's ok. We do need a new pic to go with the site itself. How 'bout instead of making the site match the sig thingy, lets make that match the site. Like a smaller version of our banner lets say?
