Contests for the Onyx Platform

So, I was talking to Ganon, when we came up with a great idea. Why not have a contest like SMWC? Seemed like a good idea to me, so why not. I'm thinking hack related contests, but I want to see what other users want as contests. Post here and I'll see what I can do.

I think you should hold one or two at a time. Maybe make one contest only for this site or something, something they have to do here to get credit for it.

I've been thinking of this as well, however some users (like me) have been afflicted with committment issues.
If you wanna make a contest, I'll give whatever ya want.

OW design
Music design
Custom sprite design
Auto-mario level
hardest level
coolest level
most fun level

As for gigas idea, maybe we could all download and play a certain ROM, and then post scores for a week.

I suggest Wrecking Crew '98 for the SNES. See who can unlock the rice cake except for me, Crystal King, and Pozzy.

Also, the NES version of Wrecking Crew included with '98. See who can get the farthest.

I know a good game for this, but i can't remember what system it is for. Its more arcade anyways, but its fun to see how far people get.

Another idea - Wrecking Crew tournament! We'll get a whole tournament board and everything, like me and MasterPenguin were going to do for the zBattle tournament.

Except we'll make it seem like Hamachi is sponsoring it, and everyone can connect over Hamachi and MSN/IRC.

I have a savestate with all the characters unlocked, for both 1.51 and 1.36. I think the 1.36 one is compatible with 1.42, but I don't know... I suggest you use 1.36 if you don't already for netplay.
